Mark Wahlberg separated from the woman who made him believe in love after the birth of his first child: they married during their fourth pregnancy (2023)

They soon settled down togetherstarted a family. But despite their instant connection and obvious chemistry, their relationship has suffered from a few hiccups. They split shortly after the birth of their first daughter, Ella, two years after they started dating.

The lovebirds could not stay apart for long and soon made up. They had two more children, sons Michael in 2006 and Brendan in 2008.

The Instant Family star and model finally tied the knot in a Catholic ceremony in Beverly Hills in August 2010 when Durham was four months pregnant.couple's fourth child.

Wahlberg revealed that they were taking their time finally getting married because Wahlberg had to be ready to commit first. He has always been wary of marriage because his parents divorced when he was a child.

In a 2008 interview, he said that no matter who the bride in question was, he was never ready for marriage. Initially, his commitment was to lay a solid foundation before taking his vows, no matter how long it took. Finally, he shared that the time had come to take the big step,saying:

"We're ready. I'm ready. She was ready, but I think you know we both come from broken families and we want to succeed."

"YES" AND "NO" IN THE COUPLE'S MARRIAGE

While love seemed like a distant dream for Wahlberg, he finally found the woman of his dreams, one who exceeded his expectations. He won't stop talking about Durham today. he praised hersaying:

Having such a successful marriage requires hard work and mutual respect. And the 'Lone Survivor' actor has mastered the art of respecting his wife.

He noted that although he was offered many roles with hot sex scenes, he turned them down because his wife disapproved. He told WENN as Closer Weeklyreports:

"If it has anything to do with me kissing someone, my wife won't like it, so I'll fight to cut it out. Those are the biggest issues. I usually try to pick my fights wisely."

When they've been together as long as Wahlberg and Durham, a union becomes pretty boring, but the couple have found ways to spice up their love life.

Durham loves it when her husband dresses up as a handyman and likes to fix or pretend to fix things around the house. They also mostly dedicate every Thursday to dating nights.

Every Thursday afternoon they leave the house and go to the movies early or get together. They then have dinner while catching up on each other's lives. And yet, as they enjoy each other's company, they make a point of not forgetting to come home when it's time to put their babies to bed.
